About the Artist
Hello! I’m Chloé, a watercolor artist and illustrator based in Austin, Texas.
My work is rooted in the natural world. I’m drawn to places where shadow meets light: wildflowers and skulls, cycles of growth and decay, symbols pulled from folklore and legend. I work slow, small, and detailed. My hope is that my art finds its way to people who love wild places and want to carry a little of the outside with them wherever they go.

Growing up, I moved often because my dad served in the Air Force. I was born in Texas, moved to Ohio, back to Texas, the Mojave Desert in California, Japan, and Washington DC, before settling in Texas for college. I studied both fine art and design at Texas State University, then spent 5 years working in tech as a UI designer. For the next 4 years, I built my small business while working part-time as a financial coach for other creatives.
These days I’m balancing studio time with being a mama to a lovely little girl who reminds me daily to make room for play, to feel emotions head on, to be present, and to stop and wonder at the world around us.
